Russell Kahler

Tell City, Indiana Russell M. Kahler, 84, passed away on November 2, 2021. He was born in Tell City on November 28, 1936 to Bob and Odell (Hills) Kahler, who precede him in death. Russell was united in marriage on July 12, 1958 to Patricia Beren, who survives. He retired from Holland Dairy after 30 years. He enjoyed living on the Ohio River and fishing, traveling and was a train collector. Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Pat Kahler, Tell City; daughter, Lisa Clayton (Harvey), Tell City; grandchildren, Jana Howerton (Josh), Rockwall, Texas and Carrie Abell (GJ), Sellersburg , seven great grandchildren and his sister, Marilyn Jones, Huntersville, North Carolina. Per Russell's wishes there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
