Sandy Stuteville

Grandview, Indiana Sandra Kay "Sandy" Stuteville, 71, passed away on December 22, 2021 at Jasper Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born in Tell City on August 16, 1950, daughter of Ivan and Nellie (Riat) Flamion. Sandy was a 1968 graduate of Perry Central High School. She had worked as a bank teller for Old National Bank and retired in 2012 from Branchville Correctional Facility where she was a guard. She was united in marriage on June 4, 2015 to Mike Stuteville. Sandy was a faithful member of St. Isidore Catholic Church where she served as a eucharist minister, religious education teacher and cleaned the church and rectory. A devoted mother and grandmother, Sandy had an abundance of friends and was loved by so many. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving is her husband, Mike Stuteville, Grandview; children, Denise Cail (Brad), Tell City; Wes Richard (Sarah) and Grant Richard, all of St. Croix; step children, Michael C. Stuteville (Jamie) and Ryan K. Stuteville, all of Wisconsin; her father, Ivan Flamion, Bristow; a brother, Rick Flamion (Pat), Holland; grandchildren, Trent and Lucas Cail, Tate, Troy and Carter Richard, Hunter and Jaxon Richard and step grandchildren, Vivian and Bellamy Stuteville and Trent Stuteville. Preceding her in death was her mother, Nellie (Riat) Flamion; a son, David Richard; her twin brother, Sammy at birth and brother, Randy at birth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Monday, December 27, 2021 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Bristow. Rev. Luke Waugh will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00-6:00 PM and Monday from 9:00-10:15 AM at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or Brooke's Journey Endowment.
