Sharon Huffman

Tell City, Indiana - Sharon A. Huffman, 75, passed away on April 4, 2016. She was born in Cannelton on February 5, 1941, daughter of the late Orman C. and Lillian (Connor) Burns. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Leon Huffman and her sons, Stephen and Scott Huffman. A 1959 graduate of Cannelton High School, she had worked at Indiana Cotton Mill, Hydro-Tex, Can-Tex and Tell Chair Company, formerly in Perry County. Sharon especially enjoyed fishing and cooking and had been a cook for the former Swiss Haus, Alpine and Lawson's. Surviving are her son, Kevin Huffman; grandchildren, Jamie Huffman, Lori Hammond, Jessie Huffman and Mairee Huffman; four great grandchildren and a brother, Norman Burns. There will be no funeral services. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City, will be handling the arrangements.
