Suzanne Bruce

Suzanne K. Bruce, 63, formerly of Cannelton, died on June 6, 2022 at her home in New Albany. She was born in Cannelton, daughter of George S. and Hilda M. (Jacobs) Bruce. Suzanne was a 1977 graduate of Cannelton High School where she excelled in sports, especially basketball and softball. She enjoyed outdoor concerts and bowling. She loved her dogs, Bear and Frosty. Suzanne had worked at Kimball International and was currently employed by Neovia Logistics (an Amazon shipping warehouse) in Jeffersonville. Surviving are her sisters, Janet Luxemburg (Raymond), Kendallville, IN and Karen Bruce, The Colony, TX; brother-in-law, Larry W. Kleeman, Tell City; a niece and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her parents, a sister, Carol A. Kleeman and brothers, Bill and Jeff Bruce preceded her in death. Burial will be in New Cliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Humane Society or Floyd County Animal Shelter.
