Terry A. Alvey, 77, passed away on August 25, 2026, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Evansville on March 17, 1949, and was the son of Ralph and Bernadine (Froehlich) Alvey. He was a 1967 graduate of Tell City High School and was united in marriage to Linda Brown on March 15, 1969.

Terry retired in 2004 from Boilermakers Union Local #374 where he was a welder for 34 years. He enjoyed playing golf, going fishing and Alvey family get togethers where his teasing personality always fit in.

Terry was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. A man of strong faith, he shared his dedication to the Bible with others throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda; daughters, Kim Conner (Nick), Brandi Bonham (Dave) and Terri Cornelius (Joel); grandchildren, Sydni, Kylie and Ethan Bonham; siblings, Mona Goffinet (Joe), Byron Alvey (Lucy), Sue Hughes (Tom), Ralph Alvey, Jr. (Marilyn), Dave Alvey (Patsy), Pat Huffman (Jim), Bill Alvey (Wendy), Paul Alvey (Ginger), Julie Bellamy (Davies), Jackie Witvoet (Jerry) and Kevin Alvey (Diane) and a sister-in-law, Carol Alvey.

Preceding Terry in death were his parents, Ralph, Sr. and Bernadine Alvey; a sister, Beth James, and her husband, Ronnie and a brother, Chris Alvey.

A memorial visitation for Terry will be held from 2:00 until 6:00 PM CDT on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel.
