Vertie Kieser

Cannelton, Indiana Vertie V. "Vi" Kieser, 85, passed away April 12, 2015 at Heartford House in Owensboro. She was born in Leopold, December 22, 1929, daughter of the late John E. and Clara (Hardesty) Damin. Also preceding her in death was her husband August Kieser, sister, Jenny Burden and brother James Edward Damin. Vi attended Oil Township School and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. She retired from Hydro Tex in 1992 after 33 years of service. Vi enjoyed their farm, flower gardening and mowing grass. She is survived by sisters; Mary Edith Oskin, Owensboro and Ellanora Schneider, Indianapolis; brothers, Earl and Herb Damin, both of Tell City and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in New Cliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ or Perry County Humane Society.
