Violet Dowell

Tell City, Indiana - Violet M. Dowell, 77, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Oakwood Health Campus. She was born October 21, 1934, in Gatchel, daughter of the late George and Eva (Litherland) Sims. Also preceding her in death was her husband James Dowell, daughter, Amanda Harper, children in infancy Bridget and Roger, brothers, Jess, Joe and Red Sims. Violet is survived by a sister, Sarah Fulkerson (Red), Tell City. There will be no funeral services or visitation at Huber Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lilly Dale Cemetery.
