James "Ben" Loney

Obituary

James “Ben” Loney, 86, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Tell City on February 11, 1934, son of the late James K. and Nora B. (Hurst) Loney.  Also preceding him in death were his sisters, Mattie “Mae” Loney and Joretta Lawrence and brother Earl Loney

Ben was a U.S. Army veteran and retired in 1996 from Tell City Chair Company after 45 years of service. 

He enjoyed all kinds of sports and was an avid Kentucky Wesleyan fan.

Ben is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruth (Hendershot) Loney; sister, Clara Dickerson, Tell City.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM CST on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time.
