Larry Joseph Sandage, 80, passed away March 7, 2021 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Evanston, Indiana on November 18, 1940 to Joseph and Verna (Anderson) Sandage.
Larry was a U.S Army veteran and member of the Army National Guard. He was united in marriage on May 15, 1987 to Janice Carter. He had worked for the Perry County Highway Department and the former Tell City Feed and Grain for over 30 years.
Larry was a member of Tell City Church of Christ and Perry County Coon Club. He cattle farmed and enjoyed playing euchre.
Surviving is his wife, Janice M. Sandage, Cannelton; children, Judy Little (Roger), Milltown, Sandy Sandage, Leopold, Rhonda James (Randy), Leopold, Kelly Sandage (Gina), Newtonville and a step son, Jim Carter, Bloomington; grandchildren, Stephanie Arthur (Jeremy), Heather, Caitlyn and Matthew Little, Victoria Allen (Jesse), Ethan James, Marie Etienne (Jeffrey) and Mason Sandage and great grandchildren, Nova and Elise Arthur, Rowen and Soren Allen.
Preceding him in death were his parents, first wife, Victoria (Rhodes) Sandage and a son, Kyle Sandage.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Mike Elaman and Larry Bryant will officiate. Burial will follow in Lilly Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00-7:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
A mask is to be worn while visiting the funeral home and social distancing is to be practiced.
